Coinflash is a new startup in the rapidly heating cryptocurrency space. The idea is a good one: they round up the change from your purchases and invest it into Ethereum for you. For example, if you buy a coffee for $3.75, Coinflash will put $0.25 into Ethereum. Over time, you will grow a little Ethereum portfolio.
In my opinion, this is a good way of slowly investing negligible amounts of money and getting your feet wet with cryptocurrency. If the price of Ethereum goes up, you’ve made a little money, and if it goes down you aren’t super disappointed because it was just a few extra cents on top of your purchases.
This month the beta is free and you can get access using the code ‘beta’. The official launch is in September. They plan to charge $1 a month, which seems like a very reasonable amount. I look forward to giving it a whirl and may have a follow-up article with my results if I do.
